Timothy Nash, Airman 1st Class, USAF (Retired)

A Vietnam Era Veteran, Tim’s active and reserve duty assignments were mostly in hospital settings as a Mental Health Clinic Specialist serving Vietnam Vets suffering from PTSD and substance abuse issues. He counseled homeless Vets at Volunteers of America in Westchester for many years. At the Center, Tim is studying Microsoft Office Computer Skills with the support of his Counselor Andre Brandt of ACCES-VR and Howard Charton, Director of Common Ground’s Montrose Veterans Program. In addition to earning his Microsoft Certification, Tim interns in the office of Armonk Limousine. He recently moved into his own apartment and bought a car. When Tim becomes Microsoft certified and has a paid job, the Center will give him his own Laptop Computer.
