Donald Fitch, M.S., Founder & Executive Director
Don earned a B.A. in Psychology from N.Y.U.'s College of Arts and Science and a Masters in Counseling from L.I.U.
He interned at St. Vincent's Hospital.
He founded the Center in 1998 after fifteen years in Administration, fund raising, consultation, and direct care in the non-profit sector.
Populations served included persons with mental and physical disabilities, substance abusers, children in foster care, the elderly, persons with HIV/AIDS and others.
He also spent fifteen years in for-profit as a marketing consultant, head of his own importing company, a manager in the Marketing Department of Pepsi Cola Company in Purchase and as their marketing consultant.
Don is a Vietnam era Veteran, a father of three sons and a grandfather of four granddaughters.

Sondra Borek, Chief Financial Officer
Sondra attended Queens College and was employed as an Office Manager for many years for a leading communications company.
After raising her three children, she re-entered the workforce as a peer counselor for WRAC at the Rockland Psychiatric Inpatient Unit and for the Center at the White Plains Health Center, Flanzer Pavilion.
Sondra is proficient in QuickBooks and meticulous in keeping the Center's financial records.
Sondra is also a talented artist and has won several awards.

Carolyn McCall, Director of Training
Carolyn graduated from Catherine Gibbs Secretarial School and Westchester Community College where she majored in Office Technology.
She is currently working toward her B.A. in Education.
Carolyn is a Microsoft Master Instructor, which includes certification in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook.
She is also certified in medical billing.
Originally from Boston, Carolyn enjoys garage sales, home decorating and her dog Taz.

Mike Baselice, MSEE, MS Management, Master Instructor
Mike has held several senior positions in Fortune one hundred corporations as a computer consultant, project manager and technology planner.
He headed the Computer Product Analysis Lab for both the New York and American Stock Exchanges.
He holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Iona College as well as a Masters in Computer Science and a Masters in Management Science from Brooklyn Polytechnic University.
Mike is a Microsoft Master Instructor.

Jeanine Falco, Administrative Assistant
Jeanine currently works at the Center part-time while attending Court Reporting School.
She has many years of experience in the corporate, legal and financial fields as a legal secretary, executive secretary and office manager.
She worked at Coca-Cola USA in the Marketing Department.
She enjoys interior decorating, home improvement projects and music.

Gerry Poole, Reception and Music Instructor
Gerry Earned a B.A. in fashion design at Oneonta College.
He also studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC and the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago.
Gerry was born in Iowa and raised in Surinem, SA.
He loves soccer and toured Europe as a coach with the American National Youth Soccer Team.
He recently received a scholarship to the Westchester Conservatory to study classical guitar.

Robert Colberg, Maintenance
Robert has worked days at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital for 30 years in their laundry department.
Robert enjoys his computer, DVD player, dining out, and his cat Buddy.

Joan Heenan, Itern Instructor
Joan holds a degree in accounting from Mercy College.
She is Microsoft certified in both Word and Excel and is working toward becoming a Microsoft Master Instructor.
Joan also volunteers at Sarah Neuman Center for Health Care.
She enjoys embroidery, movies and social events.

Carol Conboy, Intern Instructor
Carol attended Westchester Community College and has office experience at the Red Cross.
She is certified in Microsoft Word and types 60 WPM.
She loves animals and often spends weekends with her three brothers and niece.

Dr. Marvin Wolfman, M.D., Medical Advisor
Dr. Wolfman graduated Cum Laude from Brooklyn College with majors in Biology and Psychology.
He earned his M.D. degree from the University of Geneva, Switzerland and trained in Psychiatry at the Westchester County Medical Center, N.Y.U. and Albert Einstein's Forensic Psychiatry.

Martin Wiley, Technical Support
Martin attended City College of New York for Electrical Engineering on a full scholarship.
Later, he worked with the New York City Transit for over ten years.
He graduated from Skidmore Institute with a certificate in Computer Repair and is currently preparing to pass the A+ certification exam.
Martin's responsibilities include hardware and software upgrades, Internet security and viral protection.
He plans to have his own computer repair business someday.
He is a devoted father to two lovely children.

Susan Shinn, Microsoft Instructor
Sue earned her Masters in Psychology from N.Y.U. while working part-time at a local Police Department in New Jersey.
She held the position of Officer as well as that of Department Psychologist for 20 years.
Sue helped found and run a battered women's shelter in New Jersey which she still writes grants for today.
In 1994, she broke her back, requiring her to find another career.
She is working toward becoming a Microsoft Master Instructor.

Steve Vernon, B.S. Instructor
Steve graduated from Iona College with a B.S. degree in Journalism and currently works part time at the Center as a Microsoft Certified Instructor.
Steve is also a freelance reporter for the White Plains Watch.
One of Steve's articles dealt with the White Plains School District's efforts to reduce the minority student achievement gap in schools.
Steve's passions are reading, writing and teaching.

Cathy Andres, Art Instructor
Cathy earned her B.A. from the City College of New York in fine arts and has taught arts and crafts for over twenty-five years.
Her experience includes an Art Therapy Program at Mt. Sinai Hospital and at camps in Pennsylvania and New York.
She has exhibited her art in a variety of shows.
Cathy represents the Center at the annual Westchester Artists with Psychiatric Disabilities Art Show at the Westchester Arts Council and participates in after-school recreation programs at the White Plains Courthouse Daycare Center.
