MISSION
The Center for Career Freedom is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation with a mission of rehabilitation and recovery of persons with chronic psychiatric disabilities leading to competitive employment.
HISTORY
The Center was founded in 1998 by Don Fitch. All our staff are survivors of mental illness and also have extensive experience in business, as well as counseling and teaching. This unique blend of skills provides our members with a caring and street-smart approach to reaching their goals. We see our role as a partner; to assist our members in their recovery at their request and at their pace. With fourteen staff and volunteers, the Center has assisted over five hundred men and women with psychiatric disabilities.
